The Band:
The Flint Hills band, arisen from the ashes of the Red State Blues Band, is a true Manhattan original. Starting with a blues base, the band has numerous influences including R&B, jazz, rock, roots, folk, soul, and funk. We write much of our own music but cover tunes from the 1940’s to the present. This diverse band has something special for everyone and something new for all. They will rock and roll you, soothe you, and move you. From fun to serious, ballads to rockers, FHB will have you tapping your toes and coming back for more.
Flint Hills Band is: Alex Cosco, lead vocalist with a smashing voice, a true force of nature; Aliyah Stephens bass, vocals, and band cornerstone; Tony Scalora guitar and vocals; Robert Rodriguez, best drums in the west and vocals; John Blair, guitar; and Walter Dodds, harmonicas and vocals.
